Baltimore is a paradox: millions of people living in a tight space, while many of us still find ourselves feeling isolated and “alone together”.
We need hope that’s bigger than our circumstances, our abilities, or anything else we can imagine. And we believe that hope is found in Jesus Christ.
At Emmaus, you’ll find friendly people from different walks of life discovering and deepening their relationship with Jesus.
What is Emmaus [eh•MAY•uhs]?
We get our name from Luke 24. In the narrative of the two disciples on the road to Emmaus, we see that God reveals himself to His people through His Son from His word and when He reveals Himself, He causes hearts to burn for Him.
This is what we’re about: pointing people to the Bible, showing them Jesus, and praying that He’d cause their hearts to burn for Him.
